Four teenagers (a nerd, a jock, a popular girl and an outcast) all get detention. While in detention they stumble upon a game console and the kids decide to play Jumanji. After their avatars are picked, they are transported into the game. The teenagers have to work together to get past the levels to win the game so they can join the real world. This movie was The Breakfast Club meets the jungle but with more comedic moments. As someone who saw the first original film the nod at the beginning was appreciated but this movie is clearly a reboot. As far as this person’s opinion this movie is liked but not loved.
